Do you need assistance in mainstreaming gender and development (GAD) in cooperatives? You can now directly contact GAD trainers/experts across the Philippines to help you. Go to the “Gender and Development [GAD] in Co-ops Resource Pool (GCRP)” Directory available here in the website of the GERC Inc.
The GCRP Directory contains the list of “GCRP Fellows” who are GAD trainers/experts responsible in expanding GAD outreach to co-ops; and non-government organizations, government agencies, local government units, and other agencies that support GAD and co-op development. These co-ops and other agencies can communicate directly with the GCRP Fellows in this Directory for the services that they need in relation to GAD mainstreaming, such as, but not limited to, conduct of gender-sensitivity training (GST) and other gender sessions; and sustained technical assistance to co-ops for GAD mainstreaming.
Particularly, as trained GAD trainers for co-ops, the GCRP Fellows can assist co-ops in assessing the progress of their GAD mainstreaming using the “GAD Assessment Tool” for co-ops (the Tool as provided for in Cooperative Development Authority [CDA] Memorandum Circular No. 2017-04).
GCRP Fellows come from co-ops nationwide and had previously attended the trainers' training in the gender equality program and/or the trainers’ training on GAD (levels 1 and 2) that GERC Inc. conducts. Some of the GCRP Fellows are also involved in GERC Inc.’s programs on co-op youth and co-op women entrepreneurs.

Mond works in and is a member of the SMTCDC. He is well-versed in the co-op’s different operations. He is a “Development Educator” of the Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU). And as a GAD trainer for co-ops, Mon can assist co-ops assess the progress of their GAD mainstreaming using the “GAD Assessment Tool” for co-ops, especially with his additional experience as among the young GAD advocates earlier mentored by the Asian Women in Co-operative Development Forum (AWCF); GAD Focal Person of SMTCDC; and member of the Gender Equality Committee of the Bulacan Federation of Cooperatives (BUFECO).

Cooperative: Pampanga Capitol Employees’ Multipurpose Cooperative (PCEMPC), Pampanga
Hart works in the Pampanga Provincial Government. While he makes sure that he continues to enhance his knowledge and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of co-ops and, especially, in GAD concerns, he desires to help others know more about co-ops and GAD, and to apply their learnings. Cooperative: Sorosoro Ibaba Development Cooperative (SIDC), Batangas
Doc is former banker, a licensed professional teacher, and a Certified Public Accountant. She holds a doctorate in business administration. Her involvement in co-ops is inspired by being a witness since her childhood to SIDC’s humble beginnings up to becoming a billionaire co-op, of which she herself has served as an officer. Being a GAD trainer for cooperatives, Doc can assist them assess the progress of their GAD mainstreaming using the “GAD Assessment Tool” for cooperatives.
